Gloves should not be left in contaminated condition if re-use is intended especially if potential hazards exist. Before removal from the hands excess contaminant should first be removed however, should this not be possible, it is advisable to ease left and right hand gloves off using the gloved hand & remove the gloves without the contaminant contacting the bare hands. The gloves may then be decontaminated with mild detergent solution, then rinsed with clean water and dried ideally with some air movement. All gloves should be thoroughly inspected before use to ensure no damage is present.

 

Store the gloves the original packaging in a cool dry place and out of direct sunlight.

 

The standard packaging for the gloves is as follows. The gloves are packed in individual bags “inbg”. The gloves are packed in bundles in a polybag “plbg”. The “plbg” glove bundles are placed in cardboard cartons “ctn” suitable for transportation and storage.

 

Stored correctly, the gloves physical properties will not change for up to three years.
